Founded by a team of nine seasoned entrepreneurs from Silicon Valley, FalconX powers cutting edge ideas, nextgen products and futuristic business models. The founding team brings in several decades of experience in launching their startups globally, more so, into the US market in the B2B space. Silicon Valley is more a “state of mind”, as John Doerr put it, and it is about unleashing the “provocateurs, risk-takers and innovators” in entrepreneurs. Knowing very well that this mindset will globalize quickly, the FalconX founding members predicted that the upcoming unicorns could very well be coming from ecosystems like India, China and Israel, Korea, Japan and hence created an ecosystem conducive to nurturing such startups and giving them a launchpad into the US market from Silicon Valley. FalconX has now also strategically partnered with Perot Jain, L.P., a Dallas-based early stage venture capital firm and fostering innovation, with a focus on healthcare, mobility and logistics.

The diverse domain expertise encompasses fintech, AI, IoT, semiconductors, infrastructure, security, cloud, etc. and for the rest of the domains outside the team’s expertise, FalconX depends on the mentors brought in through their powerful network. Each cofounder actively engages with the startup community on a regular basis in various capacities.
A brief overview of the FalconX team: With mega successes like Exodus and NetScaler, and several successful investments under his belt, BV Jagadeesh is now founding managing partner at SVQuad, and managing partner at KAAJ Ventures. Raju Reddy is the founder and former CEO of Sierra Atlantic, a company that grew to be a best-in-class global services company and acquired by Hitachi and now is board member at several startups, and venture advisor to ICP and SVQuad. Former CEO of Cisco acquisition-Viptela, Praveen Akkiraju is now Managing Director at Insight Partners bringing in a product and operational lens to investing in the areas of automation, data platforms, DevOps, and infrastructure software. Krishna Yarlagadda is currently the founder and CEO of Huddl.ai, a next generation conference call platform and formerly, CEO of Hellosoft acquired by Imagination Technologies.
Murali Chirala is currently the CEO, co-founder, Board Member and mentor at FalconX. He was co-founder of CyberBills (acquired by FIS) and VP at Yahoo. He was the original member of the technology team to design and implement Aadhaar, (Govt. of India) and focused on architecting the Financial Inclusion platform and cashless ATM concept in Aadhaar? Dr. Ashish Gupta is the co-founder of Helion Ventures and an investor and board member who co-founded two companies in the past – Junglee and Tavant Technologies. Pradeep Aswani is a serial entrepreneur, investor and startup advisor, and his latest venture Cloud Harmonics was acquired by Ingram Micro. Raju Indukuri is a serial entrepreneur with companies like Reachnet, Valence Energy, and Mtuity, spanning cloud, software services and smart city domains. Anurag Jain is the managing partner of Perot Jain, and Chairman of Access Healthcare, a healthcare services platform. JP (JayaPrasad) Vejendla, a serial entrepreneur in the IT and cloud services and currently CEO and a co-founder of Forsys Inc.

Resounding success stories of 2021-22, despite the pandemic!
A few noteworthy startup successes of 2021-22 from the FalconX ecosystem are Aarna Networks, 5G and Edge Computing Application management startup closing a $3.5M seed round, DeepAffects, a conversational intelligence startup pioneering smart video meetings was acquired by RingCentral, also Tetrate, another FalconX company focused on microservices for containers, born of Istio’s open-source app networking project, raised $40 million in series B round. Seclore, Quantela, Locus are other startups that have also raised their series B rounds at FalconX.
